Planning submitted – Future Homes neighbourhood for 212 homes

A fresh vision for Moss Side – this isn't just housing; it's about crafting community. The Moss Side regeneration delivers 212 mixed-tenure homes (128 social rent, 84 Rent-to-Buy) with 1–5 bedrooms, designed for accessibility and embracing multigenerational living. Private gardens, rooftop terraces, and vibrant public spaces bring everyday life into focus.

We tuned into local voices to weave into the neighbourhood’s character. Each ground-floor home includes a garden, while raised walkways and green spaces unify residents in shared, breathable settings.

Trust-based collaboration lies at the heart of this regeneration. MSV, Manchester City Council, local groups, designers, and residents co-created the masterplan through engagement sessions, steering groups, school visits, and open drop-ins. Heritage is honoured with culture-rich murals, and social initiatives ensure that the place resonates with Moss Side’s identity.

Beyond bricks, this is placemaking with purpose. Green, walkable spaces emphasise wellbeing—from nature access to strong social infrastructure. These homes are designed to flex, endure, and nurture a resilient neighbourhood fabric.

This is more than housing—it’s co‑building a future with Moss Side. Bold, people-centred, and rooted in place. Together, we’re not just erecting buildings—we’re lifting a community.
