This scheme seeks to deliver approx. 54 new apartments on the site of a redundant former cinema in the centre of Wrexham.
The brief for the development was to provide an appropriate mix of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments for the PRS sector, with a small amount of retail to the ground floor, maintaining consistency of the street frontage at pedestrian level. Parking to the rear made use of the existing access arrangements and existing building structure.
The building was designed to respect the local vernacular whilst providing a contemporary appearance using a mixture of timber and pale facing stone cladding, aluminium windows with modern internal living spaces. Each home contains separate living, kitchen and dining rooms, whilst offering large double bedrooms and dedicated parking for 1 space per property.
