This scheme seeks to deliver 19 new dwellings on a brownfield site within an up and coming suburban location. The site had previously been used as a dye works and as an engineering works, with the existing in-situ building slab being taken over by vegetation in recent years.
The brief for the development is to provide an appropriate mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom family dwellings, bringing together town house living with semi-detached properties and a small number of apartments.
The dwellings are designed to respect the local vernacular whilst providing a contemporary appearance in red facing brickwork, slate tiled roofs, aluminium windows and delivering modern family living spaces internally. Each home contains separate living, kitchen and dining rooms at ground floor, whilst offering large double bedrooms and dedicated parking for 2 spaces per property.
