Kingmoor (Wrexham 1M)

The Silk Street Manchester project reimagines affordable housing with a focus on sustainability, community, and a connection to the city’s rich industrial heritage. By transforming a brownfield site overlooking the Rochdale Canal, we are building more than just homes; we are weaving a tapestry of green living, social connection, and economic opportunity.

The Kingmoor project will deliver 1 million sqft of industrial and logistics space within the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The development provides a range of large‑scale, flexible buildings designed to meet the operational demands of modern occupiers while allowing for phased delivery and future adaptation.

The masterplan transforms overgrown undeveloped site into a coherent and legible environment. Alongside operational performance, the layout prioritises long‑term flexibility, enabling the estate to respond to changing market needs over time.

Sustainability is integral to the design approach, with targets including EPC A and BREEAM Excellent. A comprehensive landscape and ecological strategy introduces new woodland planting, wetlands and biodiversity corridors across the site, strengthening existing ecological networks and softening the scale of development.
