Bredbury Business Park

The Silk Street Manchester project reimagines affordable housing with a focus on sustainability, community, and a connection to the city’s rich industrial heritage. By transforming a brownfield site overlooking the Rochdale Canal, we are building more than just homes; we are weaving a tapestry of green living, social connection, and economic opportunity.

This project delivers a 750,000 sqft employment masterplan at Bredbury, Stockport, bringing forward large‑scale industrial development within a carefully considered landscape and community framework.

The scheme comprises seven units, ranging from 60,000 to 200,000 sqft, arranged to create a clear and legible layout that supports the operational needs of modern logistics and manufacturing occupiers.

Landscape and ecology are central to the design approach. A 39‑acre ecology zone integrates biodiversity and green infrastructure into the heart of the masterplan. This landscape‑led strategy enhances environmental performance while establishing a distinctive and generous setting for industrial activity.

Careful attention to massing, orientation and layout allows the development to respond sensitively to its surroundings, demonstrating how industrial architecture at scale can successfully combine performance, placemaking and environmental responsibility.
